A recent study by WalletHub takes a scientific approach to determining “happiness” on a state by state level. The article is worth a read, and there’s plenty of data and methodology behind their approach. I don’t agree with all of it,, but the article did strike a chord – because we’ve been working on this same concept but at a much more local level.
Long ago, I asked myself whether we can apply data to locales to intuit states of being. This approach has been successfully used in Onboard’s Lifestyle Search products (which I created) and the countless “Best Places” articles I’ve developed.
But the next step is applying these concepts to local real estate search.
